Welcome to New Blossoms New Life Foundation
The New Blossoms New Life Foundation was started by Christopher and Renea' Kovski, with the help of their family and friends,
in loving memory of their daughter, Maggie. Chris and Renea' experienced infertility issues and the impact this has on a couple.
They had to endure many tests, surgeries and multiple IVF procedures before they were finally blessed with a beautiful daughter
they named Margaret Amelia Carey Kovski. Tragically, Maggie and her playmate and friend, Jenna Walker passed away on May 30,
2007.
Chris and Renea' chose to create the New Blossoms New Life Foundation as a living legacy for the girls and
the joy they brought to so many. The Foundation provides funding for IVF expenses to qualfied couples who need help to grow
into what is so important to all of us - a FAMILY.
Mission Statement
New Blossoms New Life Foundation provides financial assistance and emotional support to couples challenged
with infertility with the goal of helping them have a child. New Blossoms New Life Foundation awards grants for costly fertility
treatments, as well as, provides mentoring, counseling, and community education.
Support Our Program
For the 9 million women and 2 million men who are dealing with infertility, the
process of diagnosis and treatment can be a long, lonely, difficult path with an enormous psychological impact. There are
different options for these couples. In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) or adoption are two options. Unfortunately, these options
can be prohibitively expensive for most couples. Some couples go far beyond their financial means, even mortgaging their homes,
to pay for these services.
In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) has helped many couples conceive, but the process is lengthy,
intense and expensive - upwards of $10,000 out-of-pocket. Even more distressful, IVF isn't always successful the first time
around. New Blossoms New Life Foundation provides funding for IVF to couples who otherwise could not afford another try or
an initiate attempt. Each recipient receives financial help toward IVF medical service and the necessary medications.
In Special Memory...Nathan James Gartner
On October 16, 2009, Nathan Gartner passed away at the age of 4 months. Nathan was the son of Jim and Bridget Gartner, who
have been wonderful supporters of New Blossoms New Life Foundation and the Kovskis. In his short time with us, Nathan's life
serves as an embodiment of love and hope.
Each year, as a living memorial to Nathan, New Blossoms New Life Foundation
is honored to sponsor one couple's in vitro fertilization attempt in his memory. We have already selected a couple for 2009,
Michelle and Patrick Traphagen, who are expecting twins in June of 2010. The Traphagen's will share their love, a nd the hope
that their unborn children bring, with the Gartners as a testament to the difference Nathan has already made in this world.
